We went to the opening party of Kate Sylvester's new Britomart flagship store last night. Here are a few of the things we saw and liked. The store itself is beautiful with gold fittings, cut-out panelling on the ceiling and a custom Kate Sylvester carpet. We also loved how the shop dressing referenced the 'Secretary' inspiration behind the latest collection with vintage typewriters and bunches of those red pencils on display. The current season clothes in store nicely mix Sylvester's feminine aesthetic with a darker edge in the form of gold studded hardware. Head down to Britomart for a look.
