FOUREYES ON THIS WEEK #8

ALEX - Happy Mother's Day all you mothers out there! My mum is not a big fan of days that make you celebrate certain things but Mother's Day is one that my sister and I always make sure we celebrate with her because she more than deserves the recognition to have put up with the two of us for so long. This morning we checked out Villa Maria Vineyard (close to Auckland airport) and it was good.

P.S. If you are ever stuck for a gift for your mum, Country Road always seems to be a hit.

DANNY - The Caker aka Jordan Rondel officially opens her new space tomorrow and we popped along to the launch event on Friday to sample some of her most excellent baked goodness. The space on K Rd will serve both as kitchen and be open by appointment for private parties/high teas etc.

  
MINO - Stores dedicated to luxury brands in Auckland are few and far between so when Coach opened on Queen Street last year, it was a welcome addition to a street that is not usually high on my list of destinations. We had the pleasure of being invited to the store again this week to take a look at the new collection. I quite liked this clutch in this beautiful soft pink. Mmmm, decisions!

KATHERINE

We loved this polished look by Katherine from Katherine is Awesome that we think struck the perfect masculine/feminine balance. The beautiful blue coat was by Liam, top by Karen Walker, pants by Juliette Hogan and shoes by Burberry. Her purse was by Coach and her chain bracelet was also by Juliette Hogan.

STEVEN

Steven again caught our eye in this all-black look that was all about structured layering. His jacket and vest were by 6x4. His skirt was by Julia Fong and his pants by Calvin Klein. The bag was by Coach. The shoes and white wallet were customised by Steven himself.

STEVEN

Steven, fashion designer of label 6x4 always looks amazing and the day we photographed him in this 6x4 wrap jacket and shirt was no exception. We thought the neutral colours were refreshing. His shoes are by Geox and bag by Coach. The blazer he is wearing belonged to his mum and his sunglasses are by  ksubi and his pants by Etnies.

LAURA

Laura looked pretty and feminine in the dusky tones of this summery outfit. The colour of her Coach bag matched her Storm skirt nicely. Her sunglasses were Balenciaga, bangle was Swarovski and watch was Michael Kors. The espadrilles were from Number One Shoes.

SAKURAKO

Sakurako was super cute in this colourful dress by Karen Walker. The peplum and shoulder detail helped create a playful and girly silhouette. The head scarf was from Forever New and the belt was also by Karen Walker. The wristlet was by Coach and the awesome shoes were from Ruby.
