Alex Catarinella, freelance writer on all things fashion, music and culture, attended New Zealand Fashion Week this year. Alex rocked this Stolen Girlfriends Club jacket, t-shirt and pants (which he told us were some of the most comfortable he has ever worn). His cool cuff is by Chris Habana and shoes by Underground. Alex has written for the likes of MTV Style, Dazed & Confused, Elle, Paper, Wonderland and i-D. Fellow blogger Aych from Aych Blog is always a breath of fresh air and when we saw this bright look that incorporates mixed prints and textures, we just had to shoot it. The jacket is by WORLD, shirt from an op shop, spotty pants and white sandals from Glassons and this great oversized bag is by Richard McCoy.

FOUREYES THE BOOK

The past couple of months have been insanely busy for us as we've plunged into work on creating FOUREYES the book (more on that here if you missed it). One of the hardest and most time-consuming jobs has been wading through the 4000+ images we've shot since FOUREYES began to choose the ones for the book. Then, trying to lay out those hundreds of photos to create some kind of logical order and flow. Our first draft topped 600 pages, a fact that was greeted by our publisher with blank stares followed by a categorical 'No'. So we went back to work. For days. And days.

Here are a few behind the scenes shots of the process along with a little video of one of our days' work (set to a cheery ragtime ditty, naturally). FOUREYES the book is on track to be out in stores by November this year! We'll keep you up to date.

Alex & Mino just got back from a crazy week in New York where they checked out a couple of New York Fashion Week shows and of course shot some of the amazing street style!
