FOUREYES ON SHIATZY CHEN S/S 2015

Paris Fashion Week just happened to be on while we were there late last year and while we weren't in town specifically for the shows, we did jump on an invite to Shiatzy Chen's S/S 15 show. Shiatzy Chen is a Taiwanese label that has shown at PFW since 2008. They're often described as the Chanel of Taiwan and we could certainly see a little of that in the collection presented. Check out what we saw after the jump.

Linda looked rad in this simple look that was all about bold colours. Her clutch bag was by Taiwanese label Shiatzy Chen.

FOUREYES ON PARIS

What can we say about Paris that hasn't already been said? Everything you've ever heard about Paris is true. Except the one about how the French are rude. On the contrary, we found everyone we came across to be polite, friendly and really quite lovely. So what is there to do in Paris?

Yes, it's obvious but go to the Louvre. You could spend a week and still not see everything but if you have half a day like we did, we thoroughly recommend the Egyptian collection and Napolean III's apartment.

It would be very poor form to not spend at least one afternoon checking out the incredible shopping in Paris. The Marais is always worth a look, one of our favourites there being L'Eclaireur which stocks a bunch of amazing labels including Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcon and Ann Demeulemeester. Of course, Paris is also home to a stack of luxury labels who have incredible flagship stores here. It's well worth strolling down Avenue Montaigne or Rue St Honore, even if it's just to window shop. Not just a rack but an entire store, three levels of Lanvin, and that's just the menswear? Yes please.

Now that you've blown all your money on shopping, you need a cheap form of transport. Paris' Velib bikes are a great way to get around the city and soak up the atmosphere at the same time. There are bike stops all over the city. You can hop on and hop off all day long and the cost will still be in the single digits. Plus it counts as exercise which helps out with the next thing...

Eating. There are way too many food musts to mention them all but some of our favourites in Paris include eclairs from L'eclair de Genie, the ever-changing market menu at Pirouette, the croissants everywhere (several throughout the day is perfectly acceptable) and the incredible degustation menu at David Toutain. Also potatoes. They don't call them French Fries for nothing. Paris really knows how to cook potatoes.

HANNA

Hanna's look paired wide-legged vintage pants with an open white shirt from Uniqlo to create a crisp, minimal look that we really like. Her shoes were by Dolce Vita.

KIRSTY

Kirsty Ward's awesome bag was her own design, a collaboration with Williams Handmade. Her coat was by LF Markey and her shoes were Acne.

YUYU

Yuyu's fun blue and white outfit was by French label, Jacquemus. Her flatform sandals are Marni, bag W by WenJun and sunnnies Dior.

JOSEPH

Joseph wore a Zana Bayne harness over a jacket by Givenchy. We loved the zip detail on the shoulders. His shorts are Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh.

XIN MIAO

We are in love with Xin Miao's simple, relaxed but uber cool outfit. His knit jumper was by Trussardi and the awesome wide-legged pants were by J.W.Anderson.

MIDORI

We spotted Midori crossing Place des Vosges when we were in Paris last month. Her scarf, pants and shoes were all by Issey Miyake. Her rad hat is by Japanese hatmakers, CA4LA and her white backpack was Pleats Please.

VANESSA

We loved Vanessa's minimal and effortless look. Her rad shoes are by Proenza Schouler.

ANNA

Anna was hard to miss in this awesome bright yellow dress with its clear PVC overlay. Both the dress and shoes were by Annakiki. We love the bag by Prada too.

GIL

We spotted Gil walking his dog in the Marais and loved his minimal look with gold accents. He made the dress himself. His shoes are Nike and his hat was from H&M.

KATYA

We spotted Katya and her Velib bike just off Rue de Rivoli. We loved her minimal, clean look. The mono-sleeved (is that a thing?) dress was by ARnouveau and shoes by Zara. Her sunnies and bag were both by Prada.

APASIRI

We'll be posting a few shots from our recent Europe trip in the next few days. We know this shot looks completely set up, but it's not. We seriously just stumbled across Apasiri, looking immaculate, standing on Pont Alexandre III and gazing out at the Eiffel Tower as the sun began to set. That kind of thing just happens in Paris.

NEGIN - PARIS

Negin looked cool in this summery casual look.  We like the texture of her top, the turquoise speckled sunnies and her super colourful bag that she got in India. We also loved her awesome summer curls!

MIN - PARIS

The cropped burgundy jacket over the longer length top and the colours used in this combo got our attention. The drawstrings on the pants add an extra element of interest.
