We arrived in Sydney for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
Australia on Sunday and pretty much hit the ground running with the opening show,
Carla Zampatti that evening. After a great post-show dinner (Mr Wong’s – you need
to go) and a relatively early night we were ready for the first full day of
MBFWA on Monday. A pretty rainy morning had us a bit worried for our street
style prospects this week but it all cleared up eventually and we had a
jam-packed day shooting the shows and crowd.
Highlights included the Aurelio Costarella, Strateas
Carlucci, Bec and Bridge, Gail Sorronda and Karla Spetic collections. We’ll
have more on those individual shows coming up, but click through for a bit of a peek at
what we saw on MBFWA Day One.
