Meet Steven, the designer behind clothing label 6x4. It was hard to miss his striking silhouette in the crowd. Both the black and the white tops were traditional Korean inspired pieces made by Steven himself. The hakama, a type of traditional Japanese trousers, was from Montreal. We love how the pleats give it this full volume. The stiff brim of his hat from San Francisco contributed to the awesome hard lines of this look. He customised his Converse shoes with thick platform soles. The bag was also 6x4. We'd really love to see more inspiring looks like this on the streets of Auckland.

I'd love to see more inspiring looks like Steven on the streets of NZ cities too. I had to check where you shot him. Those Chucks would be every teenage rebels school-uniform dream. Could you please tell me what type of camera you use for your street snapping? Many thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Jane,
DeleteYep we love that we found him in Auckland and those Chucks are RAD. The four of us each have our own different camera setups. Steven was shot with a Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 24-70 f2.8 L II lens. :)
Thanks for that. They sound expensive!
ReplyDeleteThey were haha.
DeleteThis dude has got it going on!
ReplyDeleteHe sure does :)
