We noticed Olwen's short black bob as we were driving past so spun the car around and jumped out to photograph her. The sharp lines of her hair cut created a beautiful, sleek look.

We bumped into Lydia again in Newmarket yesterday and knew straight away we had to photograph her cute up do. It was a rad alternative to the standard top knot style that we see so much of on the streets. See here for previous photos of Lydia again with awesome hair.

Rhiannon looked so cool with this short, asymmetric hairstyle. The blonde colours enhanced the choppy cut just beautifully. We love how the sharp lines created by the shorter sides were a stark contrast against the rest of the textured hair.

We photographed Sara on busy Hobson Street. It was a windy night but we managed to get a few shots during the brief moments of calm. We loved the healthy look of Sara's naturally dark hair. Her hair's gorgeous shine was evident even in the dim light.

Next Thursday, the 4th of October 2012, is the inaugural ghd National Good Hair Day. To celebrate this, ghd asked us to showcase some of the rad hairstyles we've seen on the streets recently. So, each day for the next week leading up to National Good Hair Day, we'll have a focus on hair and be posting someone whose hair caught our eye.

We photographed Howie in Newmarket last weekend. The eye-catching colour of his hair was unmissable on the streets. The mix of blonde and pale lilac contrasting against the natural black of his shaved sides made for an awesome hair do. His cool shades were Le Specs.
