TIFFANY

Tiffany's dramatic zebra-print skirt by Josh Goot was obviously extremely eye-catching. Paired with simple black accessories, it was highlighted even more. We also loved her top, with its sheer and opaque panels, by May the label. Her bag was by Sportsgirl.

We shot Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper again in Sydney this year. Looking stunning as always, her pale yellow coat and top were by Michael Lo Sordo and the beautiful red skirt was by Maticevski. Her shoes were Carolina Herrera and sunglasses by Céline. We loved the playful addition of the watermelon clutch by Charlotte Olympia.

FOUREYES ON THIS WEEK #6

ALEX - About this time last year, the four of us were all here. If I can't be there this year, can I at least have these? That's all.

CHIN - These Officine 904 bow ties arrived for us from the good people of Issimo in Christchurch earlier this week. I knew immediately they'd make a pretty photograph. They are little, leather, Italian, unisex and remind me of farfalle.

DANNY - New New Zealand gin company Rogue Society sent us a bottle to try which inspired us to try and recreate the gin, sake and orange martini from Masu, another of this week's highlights. Maybe not quite the same, but I was pretty damn impressed with my mixing skills. At least enough to neatly arrange all of the components for this photo. You should try them. Two parts gin, one part sake, splash of Cointreau, stirred with ice, strained, orange peel garnish.

MINO - A group of us went to Masu Japanese restaurant on Friday and it was good! I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine and this place was no exception. Highlights on the menu for me included a selection of generously portioned and super fresh selection of sashimi, the spicy Tuna Maki roll, a melt-in-your-mouth black Wagyu beef sirloin (that I think I could probably eat everyday of my life) and black cod dish. The service was also awesome. I was too busy eating to take a photo for you but this place is worth a try!

MBFWA 2014 - CAMEO

Cameo recently showed their latest collection at MBFWA. Light seemed to be their inspiration with prints that referenced prisms, warped rainbows and black and white photos of old-fashioned roses. The show itself featured a runway lined with strong beams of light. Lady-like lace sat alongside modern silhouettes and sheer fabrics. The incredibly trendy collection even featured a few origami-like pieces. Check out the looks we liked after the jump.

CHRYSTALL

Chrystall brightened up our day as soon as we saw her on the streets of Dunedin. Her bold jumpsuit is by Forever Newher shirt is by Factor, her necklace from Diva and her shoes by Mi Piaci.

MBFWA 2014 - DI$COUNT UNIVERSE

We were invited to attend an off-schedule runway presentation by DI$COUNT UNIVERSE while we were in Sydney which was held in a private room at the Intercontinental Sydney. The presentation was an awe-inspiring range of heavily embellished pieces from their ARTI$ANAL range, with most pieces being sold as one-offs. Guests were seated in a circular pattern all facing the middle where models got up onto a large moving silver turn-table one by one to showcase the garments from every angle. The presentation was dramatic, unique and inspiring and as a brand that has been requested by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Azealia Banks, Britney Spears and Katy Perry, it is a brand that now has the reach of millions of people around the world.  Check out our photos below.

TARA

We spotted Tara in Dunedin looking chic in this beautifully simple dress by Trelise Cooper paired with a Marc by Marc Jacobs clutch.

MBFWA 2014 - KARLA ŠPETIĆ

One of a handful of offsite shows at MBFWA this year, Karla Spetic presented her collection at a swimming pool at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, just around the corner from Carriageworks. The relevance of water became clear as the models emerged and walked the edge of the pool. Pearls were a recurrent motif throughout the collection while flowing satins and watery sheer silks dominated the fabric choices. A fantastic mother of pearl print used on several pieces also informed the overall colour palette of pearlescent white, pale pink, cream, blue, silver and black. Two of our favourite garments, colour-blocked satin and sheer silk paneled dresses, also featured graphic prints of an oyster shell and strand of pearls to really drive the message home.

Styled with pristine white Reeboks, this collection was a beautiful blend of sporty and sophisticated with just the right hint of '90s minimalism and was one of our favourites of MBFWA this year. See all our shots from the show after the jump.

DYLAN

We bumped into Dylan on the streets of Dunedin in this coat by fashion design student, Kenya Quin, paired with a black shirt with cool collar detailing by Purple Rain and another shirt by Urban Outfitters tied around his waist which provided a splash of colour.

MBFWA 2014 - EMMA MULHOLLAND

If there was an award for the most fun show at MBFWA this year, it would probably go to Emma Mulholland's 80's 'brat pack' inspired ‘Risqué Business’ collection, which saw models laughing and dancing down the runway to Dolly Parton's '9-5'. Pastels, neons, sequins and a unique post-it note print featured in the collection which had a slightly nostalgic feeling to it and was a reminder that once 5pm comes around, you can be who you want to be. Check out the collection below.

JENNIE

We thought the simplicity of Jennie's outfit coupled with the cool graphic element on her Moschino skirt looked great. Her top is by Juliette Hogan and this belt which Jennie has worn as a necklace is by Martin Grant. Her shoes are by Repetto and her bag by Bottega Veneta.

YUJIA

We really like Yujia's Silence Was... spotted dress paired with another, more bold spotted piece, a jacket by Marni. Her sunnies are by Le Specs

FOUREYES ON THIS WEEK #5

ALEX - What better activity on a rainy Easter Sunday than explore a newish cafe in an area that you don't normally frequent? This morning Mino and I checked out L'Oeuf cafe in Mt Albert and it was definitely something a little different (in a good way!). With names like "The Architect", "The Queen", "The Cambodian"and "The Peasant", the menu was a really interesting read and it made it almost impossible to choose what to have. We opted for "The Nest" (pictured below), sunflower seed crumbed soft-boiled eggs in a pastry nest with beetroot ketchup and rocket salad, "The Geisha", a soba noodle dish with sesame dressing which was so good, a couple of coffees and an orange and mango lassi. Everything was so tasty that we got greedy and ordered a Banh Mi, a chicken filled roll which was equally as good! Switch up your usual eggs benedict and try something new at L'oeuf - 4a Owairaka Ave, Mt Albert.

CHIN - I've owned a bathtub for over 4 years now and have only ever used it once. This evening I felt compelled to use it a second time. A pretty neat way to deal with the cold and wet weather that's happening in Auckland. It was nice and it looked like this.

DANNY - It's a long weekend. A really long, long weekend. We've been away so much in the last couple of weeks, it's been great to spend it in Auckland, catching up with visiting friends and getting domestic at home. My whole house has been tidied. And I baked bread. Actual bread, not in a breadmaker. Ciabatta. OK, so it's a disfigured unique shape and heading towards the burnt side of well done, but it tastes pretty good and has holes and everything.

MINO - I always make a point to also check out the "girls section" of the stores I go into as you never know what you are going to find - I saw this coat on our recent trip to Sydney in the Acne store and fell in love with it. It's easy, it has awesome volume and layering potential and I can't wait for the weather to get a tiny bit cooler so I can actually start wearing it.

MBFWA 2014 - AURELIO COSTARELLA

Aurelio Costarella impressed again with a lavish collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, inspired by the photography and subjects of Man Ray and the silhouettes of 1920's and 30's Paris. Feathers, tassels and elaborate beading added luxury and sparkle to otherwise clean and pared back forms. Colours ranged from chic and elegant black and white, through to shocking pink and orange. Check out all our shots from the show after the jump.
