Kate Sylvester's Spring/Summer 2013/14 show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, entitled The Last Sitting began with a dramatic light display from a lighting rig at the start of the catwalk. The collection was inspired by the bittersweet life of Marilyn Monroe and featured references to 1950's American pop culture including fantastic baseball-style stitching in some garments and shoes.
