FOUREYES ON KATE SYLVESTER AT THE MARR FACTORY

Last night, Kate Sylvester closed a fantastic week of shows at The Marr Factory presented by Stephen Marr and Hallertau. The romantic, elegant and wearable Summer 2012 collection, All My Heart took inspiration from Jane Eyre. See what we saw after the jump.

YOLANDA

Yolanda's accessories and use of colour stood out on the streets of Auckland. Her shirt and pants are from Moochi and her vest is from London. Her boots are vintage from the Takapuna market. Her bag and necklace are by Bershka. 

FOUREYES ON NOM*D AT THE MARR FACTORY

Nom*D showed their Summer 12/13 collection at The Marr Factory last night. It was an absolutely packed show which presented photographic challenges but also provided a great atmosphere. As expected, the clothes were beautiful with varied textures, striking silhouettes and beautiful subtle details. See what we saw after the jump.

JUSTINA

Justina mixes old and new with a pair of printed pants from Glassons, a tailor-made shirt from India and this beautifully printed blazer from the Recycle Boutique. Her bag is vintage and she picked up this beautiful hairpiece she has used as a neck piece from a gypsy while in India. Her boots are by Chaos & Harmony. 

FOUREYES ON HELEN CHERRY & WORKSHOP AT THE MARR FACTORY

Last night we attended the Helen Cherry & Workshop show at The Marr Factory presented by Stephen Marr and Hallertau. Check out the photos after the jump.

PHOEBE

The mixed prints of Phoebe's vintage floral dress and animal print shirt were striking especially when put together with these silver, spiked shoes from Andrea Biani.

FOUREYES ON ZAMBESI AT THE MARR FACTORY

Last night we attended Zambesi at The Marr Factory, the second in a series of five shows presented by Stephen Marr and Hallertau. This is some of what we saw on Day Two.

SERENA

The way Serena has paired the yellows and oranges in her outfit including her cute neon socks make for an interesting colour combination. Her plaid pants and jacket with leather panelling are from Moochi. Her watch is by Marc Jacobs, bag by Jeffrey Campbell, sunglasses by Ksubi and necklace by Moochi.

FOUREYES ON KAREN WALKER AT THE MARR FACTORY

Last night we attended the Karen Walker show at 'The Marr Factory'. Stephen Marr and Hallertau have teamed up for this series of shows at The Golden Dawn in Ponsonby. Karen Walker, Zambesi, Workshop and Helen Cherry, Nom D and Kate Sylvester will take a night each this week to show their latest Spring/Summer collections that are hitting stores now. Here's what we saw at last night's show.

GEM

We caught Gem on a sunny day in Newmarket looking amazing in an all black ensemble with this statement black and white Fiorelli bag. Her top is from an op shop and her pants and shoes are from Cotton On. Gem has just opened a store on K Road in Auckland called Hunter Gatherer so if you are in the area, go and check it out!

ELLIOT

We photographed Elliot one night on K Road. His distinctive style and perfectly groomed moustache caught our eye. His printed shirt was a second-hand find from France. His pants were from SaveMart. The rad black and white shoes were Stacy Adams.

NIKKI

We loved how Nikki incorporated a number of quirky details into her look. The way she buttoned up her cardigan from Urban Outfitters gave it a cool asymmetry. The gold-edged pleated skirt was by Zara. Her printed umbrella was Mimco and her bag was Witchery. The awesome two-tone metallic brogues were from ASOS.

CHARLOTTE

The bright red of Charlotte's skirt by Lara Parker really popped when we spotted her heading home from work in the city. Her cute draped jacket was by Auckland designers, Ribbon On A Bombshell. Her awesome Unreal Fur bag was picked up on Once'It and her glasses were by Cutler and Gross.

RACHEL

We spotted Rachel just as she was crossing the road. The tail of her sheer Glassons dress created a great silhouette as she walked. Her chunky knit jumper was also from Glassons and her shoes were from Mi Piaci. The cool cat and eagle rings were from New Jewellery in Auckland.

SHONA

Shona stood out on the streets of Newmarket in this black Petrena coat featuring numerous silver zips. She created drama with this outfit when she opened the coat to reveal sequins and fine stripes. The shades of grey were made up by a jacket worn over a dress, both by Annah Stretton. Her shoes were from Mischief.
