ELLA

Stolen Girlfriends Club's hydrangea and cigarette print from their Last Night's Party collection has proven pretty popular this winter. We love it here in Ella's light and graceful skirt from Superette, that floats beautifully in the breeze.

CHLOE

We spotted Chloe while she was watering a plant outside the store she works. Her dress is from Ruby and we love how the thickness of the fabric holds the structure of it's folds. The red ring she got from Thailand really pops against the colour of this dress. We also love the bold zip on the back.

CHRIS

We love the black layers in Chris's outfit, the shape of his bag and how his tattoos are the only element of colour in his look. The awesome Thorn Ring is by Jimmy D in collaboration with Meadowlark.

CHANDEE & ABBEY

FOUREYES was out in Newmarket when friends Chandee and Abbey caught our eye. Chandee's jacket is from Smoove and her shorts were a purchase during a trip to Bangkok. We love the fact the her shoes are from Number One Shoes and she has added ribbons to them herself. Abbey's dress is from Dotti, knit from Max Mara and shoes from Wittner. She tops off her look perfectly with a great hat from Glassons.

DEMI

Demi had just stepped out of a popular cupcake store in Newmarket when we approached her for some quick photos. The first thing we noticed about her were her rad shoes from MADE. Demi certainly cut a statuesque figure in them! Her high-waisted, pleated pants are by TopShop from The Department Store and her jacket is from Glassons. Her sunnies are by Karen Walker.

NIKITA

Nikita's floral jeans are by Ksubi and her anorak is a fantastic piece from her childhood. We love how her turquoise bracelet works perfectly with the colours of this outfit.

SHARP

We really like this simple European look of a blazer with a plain white t-shirt and skinny pants. The detail of the pocket square in the blazer pocket also adds a great touch.

TANSY

We met Tansy in Newmarket. Her Annah Stretton dress is worn over a pale pink petticoat to create this volume. The wrap is from The Warehouse and her awesome Deco brooch is her mother's from Paris.

CLARA

Clara was a Fine Arts student on her way to her studio when we met her on K' Road. The first thing we noticed about her was her amazing shoes. They were by Ann Demeulemeester and were purchased from the super cool secondhand store Tatty's. We also love Clara's sharp bob.

ANNA

Anna's awesome printed pants are by Karen Walker and she got this great pre-loved shirt from a clothes swap. The brogues are a great choice for this look. We also love the chain detail on the belt.

MATT

Matt is a Fine Arts student we spotted as he was crossing K' Road. His simple yet considered look was quite striking in real life. The secondhand jacket and shoes have been teamed with beige shorts to create a rather sophisticated look. We thought his simple side-slicked hairstyle was the perfect complement. We also loved Matt's necklace which he made himself.

JOHN & ELOISE

We came across John and Eloise on Vulcan Lane. We think John's topknot and Eloise's loose braid just ooze casual cool. His cardigan is by American Apparel and her dress is from Japan.

JOHN & SANDRA

We first spotted John and Sandra one morning on K' Road but the bustling main road distracted us just long enough for us to lose sight of them. As luck would have it, we bumped into the stylish duo again later that day on another fashionable street in Auckland. They had just stepped out of this bookshop on High Street when we approached them for some quick shots. We loved Sandra's black layers and John's handsome spectacles.

ROMY

We came across Romy in a vintage clothing shop late one morning. She is an actress who studied in Wellington where she also developed a fondness for vintage clothes. Catch her in the upcoming television series 'NOTHING TRIVIAL' due to air on TV ONE later this year. Her amazingly detailed cape was a lucky find from a vintage clothing store in Parnell. While the vibrant colour was a great way to warm up winter, we thought the intricate silver clasps were the real stars of this garment.

JOJOS

Jojos was a vision in this all black ensemble with this cool little pouch around her neck. We loved how we could see jewellery details through her transparent sleeves.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Renee, Liz, Iona and Anna all looked amazing on a recent girls night out.

We loved the structure and simplicity of Renee's dress by Nicola Finetti as well as the awesome Alexander McQueen clutch she was carrying.

Liz wears a sass & bide dress with amazing shoulder detail. We loved the the gold necklaces she was wearing, one of which was a replica of a pendant that her mother wore as Miss New Zealand winner in the 1970's. Her sister Anna on the end also wears the same pendant.

Iona wears this awesome sass & bide vest. We thought the pleated ruffles worked well with the clean lines of the rest of her look. 

The front of Anna's dress, also from sass & bide, looks like a kaleidoscope of mirrors and we loved the way it sparkled with reflections.

JUMPSUIT

We came across this awesome jumpsuit late one morning in Newmarket. The grey and black geometric stripes looked like stylised rain to us. Perfectly suited to the dreary day.
